Expanding O&M service provision – BSPPT’s strategic move

Recognizing the trends and opportunities, Binh Son Petroleum Packaging and Trading Joint Stock Company (BSPPT) has proactively entered a new playing field by signing a contract to provide operational personnel for Cai Mep LNG Terminal – one of the key national energy infrastructure projects. Cai Mep LNG Terminal plays a key role in the strategy of ensuring the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) for the Southern region and the whole country. Being selected as the partner to provide operational personnel for this project is a testament to BSPPT’s capacity and reputation. In particular, the team of engineers participating in the project are all those who have been in charge of equipment operation and maintenance at Dung Quat Oil Refinery with more than 15 years of practical experience.

Sharing about the Company’s strategic orientation, Mr. Phan Quoc Toan – Director of BSPPT affirmed: In addition to its traditional strengths in manufacturing packaging, plastic pellets, pallets, supplying LNG and other logistics services; BSPPT is focusing on strongly developing the technical service sector – including providing high-quality operation and maintenance personnel for industrial plants. This is a potential field, helping the Company to maximize its advantages in logistics, technical human resources and material management in the Oil and Gas industry.

This move is also in line with the business orientation approved at the 2025 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders of BSPPT, with a revenue target of VND 1,237 billion, after-tax profit of VND 15.7 billion and payment to the state budget of about VND 12.6 billion. The company also focuses on expanding the consumption of 36,000 tons of PP resin, expanding the business of LPG, pallets, supplies, enhancing other technical support and logistics services. The implementation of signing a contract to provide operational human resources at Cai Mep LNG Terminal is a concrete action, demonstrating the determination to implement this diversification commitment. This is also an effective step of the Company to increase professionalism in providing technical human resources for energy infrastructure.
