BSPPT Organizes the Program “Tet for Victims of Agent Orange”

On the morning of January 9, 2025, Binh Son Petroleum Packaging and Trading Joint Stock Company (BSPPT) held a social welfare program to present meaningful gifts to children at the Nghia Thang Center for Nurturing and Rehabilitation of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims (Nghia Thang Commune, Tu Nghia District, Quang Ngai Province) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025.

Joining Hands to Ease the Pain of Agent Orange

The Nghia Thang Center for Nurturing and Rehabilitation of Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims is currently caring for 20 victims of Agent Orange, most of whom are third-generation sufferers. At the center, these children are provided with care, rehabilitation exercises, meals, and vocational training to help them integrate into society.

With the spirit of “the whole leaves protecting the torn ones,” BSPPT presented practical gifts to improve the children’s meals and ensure they have the means to celebrate a warm Lunar New Year. Though small, these gifts embody heartfelt sincerity, aiming to alleviate their pain and bring joy during the traditional holiday.

Spreading Social Responsibility

Mr. Huynh Viet Cuong, Deputy Director of the company, shared:
“With the joint effort of society, each gift reflects the profound empathy of BSPPT employees for these disadvantaged lives. We hope the children feel the warmth and overcome difficulties together to enjoy a peaceful, happy New Year.”

At the gift-giving ceremony, company representatives presented contributions to the center’s kitchen and 23 Tet gift packages for the Agent Orange victims there.

Mr. Le Van Tien, Director of the Center, expressed: “For over 10 years, the center has relied on funds mobilized by the Provincial Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims’ Association and the support of various organizations and individuals. At times, we struggled with finances, seeking help everywhere to sustain care for the children. Today, we are thrilled and touched by BSPPT’s support. The company’s contribution is especially meaningful as the Lunar New Year approaches.”

In recent years, alongside its business operations, BSPPT has consistently prioritized social welfare efforts. The company aims to share in the difficulties and help Agent Orange victims celebrate a joyful and warm New Year.
